Liwen Guo is currently a Research Associate in economics at the University of New South Wales and a Lecturer and Research Assistant in business at Western Sydney University. Liwen undertook her doctoral studies in economics at the University of New South Wales, focusing on poverty, resilience and labor market choices in China.
She is a Fellow of the Global Labor Organization and has served as a Virtual Young Scholar. Her past affiliations include the National Bureau of Economic Research, where she assisted in projects remotely and on-site. She also was a visiting fellow at Harvard University.
